My husband has 16% progressive motility and 20% non progressive motility and 2% morphology, his sperm count is higher then normal.
I have started giving him just for men supplements and a multi vitamin and a vitamin c , I have ordered Proceive from Holland and Barrett has anyone tried that??
But don’t no what’s the best to give him to improve sperm motility?
Also are his results bad? I no he doesn’t meet the average percentage but my doctor didn’t really say how bad is was she just said she would refer us to a clinic.
Hi sand beaches my husbands semen analysis was on low side for count, motility and morphology. My clinic recommended proxeed, he took 2 sachets a day and had weekly accupuncture and numbers came up and morphology and motility really improved. We had 9 eggs collected, 8 fertilised and 3 excellent quality day 5 blasts. Hope this helps x
Hi there. I've hard proxeed or impryl are very good. I would also look at zita west products. We bought it all in separate tablets so poor hubby takes about 10 a day!
Omega 3, multi vit (pure one), alpha lipoic acid, l carnitine, l arginine, co q10 (ubiquinol), zinc and selenium, acetyl l carnitine..I think thats it!
My partners was similar and we had IVF & ICSI and a managed to get 8 blastocysts. He cut back on drinking, took supplements and I got him to eat a handful of walnuts a day 😂 it did slightly improve x
Hey Sandbeaches... I agree with supplements above. Vital for sperm health. Reduce or stop caffeine and alcohol for 3 months prior to IVF.
Also make sure that if he keeps his mobile phone in his front trouser pocket, that the phone is in an EMF shielding Faraday pouch (£5 on eBay) EMF from the phone damages sperm. We also turn our WIFi Router off at night, no charging of phones next to bed, and we sleep on an earthing sheet to help get deeper sleep and to repair damage to the cells. Every little helps xx
I have taught fertility awareness for 39 yrs it wasn’t till l had a client TTA for 4 yrs that I learnt the importance of a good vitamin b12 level will improve fertility in male & females.A client started methyl b12 spray after having testing for vitb12 & vit D Levels. 4 months of daily B12 & a much needed pregnancy was confirmed.I also researched male infertile & sperm count of 20 million will be boosted to 100 million with a vit B12 suppliment. A vitamin B12 deficiency can effect DNA, cause frequent miscarriages ,foetal abnormalities, premature births, preeclampsia, haemorrhage pre & post births, anaemia, low platelets & iron.
Helllllllo how is it going? Yes I remember I was told when I was ttc that my husband had issues with sperm count including morphology and motility. The only one I could remember was that the doctor said his motility was 1 to 2 %. I remember asking her the meaning of that. The doctor advised we start supplement as sperm motility of 2% cannot swim to meet the eggs, so it's dormant and pregnancy might be difficult to achieve.
My goodness I didn't find that funny at all. We started taking proceive which is good but I found proxeed plus for men better because it's specifically for sperm issues. My husband changed from proceive to proxeed plus for men and took two sachets daily. It worked for us after taking it for almost three to four months coupled with prayers 🙏
Mary please see my post previous sadlyDrs are not trained in nutrition or vitamin deficiencies. With this success testimonial I presented at Melbourne Nfp Conference to make an awareness of nutrition & importance in fertility.
