So I went to the loo and when I wiped found blood on the toilet paper a small amount I made a appointment with the 111 service and they got me seen by the epu unit they think I may have a Uti baby’s heart beat was ok and I have thrush
This morning I had another bleed jus after pooing when I wiped a significant amount of red blood was present and it was very stressful
I went to the the epu again and they checked baby’s heart beat which was fine 150 and examined me they think I may be bleeding due to being constipated
I don’t know what to think and have been really worried
They would not scan me and they found the baby’s heart beat
The thrush is really bad and when I used the pessary it burnt like mad
Any advise would be appreciated I’m so worried and unsure

It’s reassuring to hear that baby’s heartbeat is there and that you had a scan. Really bad thrush can cause spots of blood on the paper and so can constipation. Just keep a close eye on where the blood is coming from. Eat some prunes/prune juice and lots of water to help with the constipation.
For the thrush- you could try vagisil to help with the burning (it numbs the skin but doesn’t treat the infection) which hopefully will make you more comfortable. Sometimes clotrimazole (canestan) cream helps with the lip irritation more than the pessaries (you can buy this).
Thank you I have been using canestan and thinks it’s coming from my back passage
Iv booked a private scan for a weeks time
How awful to find yourself with such thrush. Just when you start to relax. Nothing in this journey is easy is it! It's so reassuring that you have had those scans. Hope it clears up soon xxx
I have no advice but just wanted to send you some love xxxx hope it all goes ok & you can start to relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Sounds like you’re going through a lot xxx
So scary for you! Sounding positive that the hospital is happy though. Cant offer an advice but hoping everything settles down for you soon!xx
It can be scary when you see blood while pregnant and good news your babys ok, your private scan should give you that extra reassurance. Hopefully the thrush eases off quickly.
My wife had a bleed around the same time, a few times actually, each one I drove to our maternity and got a scan, fetal hearbeat check, and a anti-d injection. All the bleeds were nothing serious, she's 32 weeks now and looking good, thanks god.
A friend of mine had terrible thrush in her pregnancy - she found plain natural yogurt helped sooth the irritation. She would lay on a towel & pour it on & just rest there for a while.
With regards to the constipation, have you been struggling to pass stools? You may have developed haemorrhoids if you have, which could be the cause of the bleed. Increase your fibre & water intake to improve your bowel motions.
