I had my ERA biopsy test on Wednesday at 2pm. I had slight brown bleeding afterwards which was to be expected. This stopped Thursday morning. Then Thursday evening my period started. I was told it would be in a week.
Has anyone else had it this early? Did the biopsy kickstart it perhaps?

Hi there, I'm assuming you stopped progesterone immediately following the biopsy? The time between stopping progesterone and period arriving varies between ladies. I know mine arrived a couple of days after stopping after my ERA, sometimes it can take up to a week for some people. So i would say this seems normal to me xx
Thank you for coming back to me. Yes, I stopped the night before the biopsy as advised by the doctor, that's good to know yours arrived around the same time too. xx
This is quite normal, I had 2 biopsies in the past and always my period started after 2 days if I wasn't on any medications. My doctor told me the biopsy can trigger your period. Good luck 🤞♥️
Ok that's a huge relief, as my last cyclogest was Tuesday evening and then I came on Thursday evening, so I have followed your pattern of 2 days. Thank you for replying, puts my mind at ease to know it's normal and the same for both you and F_J_762301. xx
I would say this is very normal. The stopping of the progesterone will more than likely prompt the start of the period. Mine didn’t start straight away but it was very early after an ERA. X
