pain in my left ovary after egg retrieval

I had my egg retrieval on tuesday and my transfer is supposed to be on monday which is basically 5days later but i started experiencing an excruciating pain in my left ovary. it started 24hrs after the egg retrieval. Now i'm scared they might say i have OHSS and cancel my transfer. who has had this experience?

Hi, I have had a similar situation, however I opted for a freeze all cycle. So I didn't do a fresh transfer. Let's hope things settle down for you and you are able to do a transfer.

The usual advice is, drink a lot of water, and use paracetamol. However if the pain is to much, see a doctor.

Thank you Kumkums. I want a transfer on monday, i really don't want to freeze. The pain is gradually relieving. I'm drinking lots of gartorade (it contains calcium and potassium) and tylenol as well as recommended by the nurse. I just spoke to them and they said if the pain has reduced, we can still do the transfer on monday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and above all, my hope is in God.
