Heavy bleeding in 12 weeks pregnancy

My sister is 12 weeks pregnant in Canada and she got her ultrasound done two days ago. The Ultrasound is good and doctor says baby is doing great. But today she called me and said she got heavy bleeding with two big lumps of blood. It scared us? Waiting for doctor...Any suggestion? Thanks

So sorry to hear this hun. Only suggestion is tell her to book another ultrasound they'll know better what's going on. Thinking of her and baby hope everything's OK 😘💝

I had a massive bleed with clots & cramps at 14 weeks. I was sure it was a miscarriage. But the babies were fine. I Went to A&E. I was in for 2x days for monitoring. They don't know what the bleed was. I'm now 16 weeks. I hope everything is ok. It's so scary! Xx

She needs to go to her local Emerge walk in. They will scan her and do bloods. It could be SCH which will heal without affecting baby. But can only be diagnosed by scan. I hope she's ok.

So sorry to hear this, I know how scary it is as I bled a lot in early pregnancy. I agree with the other posters - it may well be nothing but she needs to get this checked out. I hope she's ok, hugs xxx
