First step for donor egg IVF

We’ve been told that donor egg IVF is our only option but our appointment with a consultant isn’t for months which is frustrating. I was just wondering what, if any, additional tests they might do at our appointment to determine whether someone is a suitable recipient. I know I have a small fibroid but the GP said it was subserosal (facing out of the uterus) so shouldn’t affect my chances of becoming pregnant but I’ve since learnt not to take everything my GPs have said at face value and want to be as prepared as possible for whatever is coming next. Does anyone have experience of what types of things a consultant could say would be a barrier to us moving forward with this. I’m only 33 so I’m hoping I’m capable of at least carrying a baby and that my only obvious issue is a mysterious lack of eggs!
