We have completed 2 rounds of IVF using frozen donor eggs, with no success.
With our first donor, we got 6 eggs and 2 blastocysts. The first transfer didn't implant. The second transfer resulted in a chemical pregnancy.
With our second donor, we again had 6 eggs and 2 blastocysts. We did 2 transfers, with negative results each time.
We have a consultation with the doctor this week to talk about the next steps. Any suggestions on what questions we should ask? Also, does anyone have a success story after failed IVF with donor eggs?

Hi Razz. So sorry to hear this. I wonder whether you could mention the possibility of using an anti-coagulant such as heparin or low dose soluble aspirin to ensure an even blood supply to your womb lining and hopefully prevent any clotting? Thinking of you. Diane
Ask if it may be egg quality or just didn’t attach. See about something they call embryo glue I did not use it but some pl say they used to to help embryo stick. Are your vitamin d levels and thyroid levels ok my RE said that can cause it not to stick as well
Yes, I had embryo glue at biotexcom. I also had implantation problems previously, but my last transfer with embryo glue was successful! Hope it can help you.
Hey, sorry to hear that you are having a hard time. We did 2 transfers with OE and BFN. Went on to DE and out of 7 transfers we had a bundle of negatives, changed up as many things as we could and eventually we got a BFP which ended in spontaneous early loss, the a chemical and negatives again. We chose to do an ERA so we could pin point my implantation window and massively upped my dose of progesterone....we are now currently pregnant with twins. It's very early days but its the furthest we have gotten out of 9 transfers in total. I'm sure the progesterone timing and high doses of progesterone helped.xxx
I am sorry to hear that Razz9. We have also tried donor eggs in March with no success. It was with a second donor. The first one we had 8 eggs and no blastocysts. The second one we had 4 eggs and only one blastocyst, that did not implant.
The doctor asked my husband to do a FISH test to check his sperm. Then we can go from there. Maybe you could also ask if that's the case for you. Good luck!
Hi razz, I’ve not tried donor eggs yet but have had a lot of failures along the way. If the clinic is happy those 4 blasts were good quality then perhaps it’s time to look at some more testing to see if there’s a reason why they haven’t implanted. Things like NK cells, ERA, ALICE/EMMA. And things like Dianne suggested like blood thinners to help circulation to the uterus. Other things to look for might be a hysteroscopy to check for polyps or any other uterine anomalies. I’m not sure what tests you’ve already done along the way likely quite a few so apologies if these are all old news to you! Xx
Awww Hun , I’m so sorry! I was looking for success stories for using frozen eggs ...I’m so sad to hear your story!!! Don’t know what back up plan I might have if the frozen eggs fail 😔🥺🥺
