Hiya I was just curious when people started taking pregnacare I started at 14 week but I was struggling to take them so I stopped, but I would like to start again and I’m 17 weeks

What is that you struggle with on the pregnacare ones? Is it side effects or the size of them? Perhaps you could try a different brand? Seven Seas do a small capsule, I think xx

I took mine straight after transfer. I struggle some nights; they are like horse tablets! And they taste weird. x

I started taking them 2 weeks before my transfer, and am now 13 weeks and still taking them. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow so I will ask her if she recommends carrying on with them. If it's the size you are struggling with, some people recommend taking them with a thicker liquid (smoothie, yoghurt drink) x

Hi Chlo20. Ideally you should have been taking them prior to conception so that you received the correct amount of Folic Acid and Vitamin D. Speak to your midwife and see if she can recommend one that is more palatable to you. Good luck! Diane

What kind of problems are you facing? I think you should visit a doctor. Their input would be quiet valuable. TTC is tough. It requires patience. I hope all goes well for you. Take care.
