Anyone knows what is the reason of pink discharges right after period?
Had mine on 31st and it finished on 6th,since last night I’m having cramps and today when I wiped myself I had pink discharges with a little blood on it! Wondering what is it? Should I call my clinic? Is it serious? xoxo

I have replied on your earlier post; yes it does need to be evaluated by a GP and your clinic.
I started bleeding between my periods 4 years ago; like you I had awful period cramping and then a bit of blood; at times it was pink, red and brown and sometimes it was fresh blood. My GP took bloods , sent me for a scan and then a referral for a gynaecologist ( I was discharged from nhs fertility clinic; they were awful but that’s another story 🙄) I had a hysteroscopy as a scab indicated a a polyp or fibroid which the gynaecologist was going to remove . I had my hysteroscopy in July 2015 it was all clear.
I had ignored it as my ex fertility specialist was best disinterested in my gynae issues; so I didn’t believe my GP would take me seriously it happened for 6 months which is when I finally saw a GP over
Despite a clear hysteroscopy it continued so to cut a very long story short; the general gynaecologist recommendation was a referred me to a fertility clinic ( I begged not to see my ex fertility specialists; I knew I’d get no where with him) the gynae specified a fertility clinic where he colleague worked and thought my cycle issues were down to an ovulation issue; the leading fertility specialist insisted I saw him and he thought I had PCO so I was put on clomid; 4 th round I suffered chronic pain led to me having my first lap and diagnosis of endometriosis which I think was the cause of it the whole time. I still get the bleeds and cramping between my cycles but I know it’s part of my endometriosis so I’m not worried.
Please don’t be like me ; speak to a GP ASAP to rule anything serious out ( which I doubt it is; it could be many things; endo, polyps, fibroids or maybe just ovulation: some women do bleed and cramp during ovulation)
I’ll defo call them first thing in the morning, I’m having this problem since my misscariage I used to have cramp on my ovulation time but I don’t think I’m due to that as it’s just day 9 and my period is 28days so around day 15 16 is the time. It’s not bleeding mostly it’s cramps and light pink discharges. Sure I’ll let you know. Thanks for being so nice ❤️😘xoxo
Just a thought, Are you on any supplements? I had this for two months last year & I’m convinced it was either because of evening primrose oil or Maca as I started taking both of those at a similar time. As soon as I stopped taking it went away. It was not ovulation bleeding as was too early in the cycle and had negative opks so convinced it was something that had kind of tampered with my hormones. Hope you get some answers xx
In on pregnacare near 2 months and this is my second cycle that I have this problem so maybe you're right! I forgot to take it yesterday and I won’t take it today. I’ll call my clinic so hopefully they do something for me. Thanks for the reply lovely xx
No worries. Pregnacare has a lot of stuff it it including a really high dose of b6 so maybe that could be it. Please let me know what ur clinic say as I kind of assumed the spotting was a bad thing rather than that the supps were maybe correcting some underlying issue but I didn’t have anyone really to ask so just panicked & stopped . So hard to know what to do for best . Good luck xx
Sure I’ll let you know. I called my clinic left a message so waiting for them to call me back. It’s scary when we know whats going on in our body, and I always think the worst😔 last night I told my husband maybe I got cancer🤦🏻♀️ xx
I really doubt it’s cancer very rare. It’s more likely endo, fibroid/polyp or just hormones settling down. I think we all think the worst and dr google doesn’t help 🙄xoxo
They didn’t call yet, that’s one of my reason that I’m not happy with them. I really hope it’s not something important. I’m due for me smear test (which I hate) but I defo make an appointment for this week or next week. Feel so sorry for myself xoxo
That’s good news. I’m sure it’s nothing serious but understand that you need to be told that.
I still don’t have my biopsy results; the blinking gynaecologist got the results and went on holiday without writing all clear or whatever. Hopefully I’ll hear this week; I will be harassing because it’s not fair to keep me waiting when she had results prior holiday 😡and her secretary who was really nice and frankly embarrassed by it said she has piles of paperwork I will not let her put me as low priority 😉yes it’s probably all clear; but like yourself I want to hear that.
Hi beautiful, made up for you! Mine went well too all clear just a very tiny cyst on my right but they said it might be a folicol and nothing to worry, pain is much better hope it doesn’t come back xoxo
Hi Anna you will not believe that today I have spots of red blood and it’s only day 9 of my cycle. I haven’t ovulated yet. I started taking pregnacare again this month after being on seven seas ttc supps for ages. I am so upset but also so glad I saw your post a few days ago . Going to stop taking it right away! I see you are all clear which is great xx
Hi lovely, tbh I don’t think it’s because of pregnacare, I still taking mine every day plus vit E 400iu. The nurse told me sometimes it can happen before ovulation, if you don’t bleed much then nothing to worry if you need a tampon then defo call your clinic xxx
Oh thank you so much that is reassuring ! I don’t have a clinic at the moment as waiting for copy of my records from old clinic to move to a new one so great to have you ladies here for advice . Maybe I should keep taking then and see what happens. Suppose it could be anything even just from ‘bd’ . I keep putting off on starting dhea but in some ways glad I haven’t this month as I’d be wrongly blaming that. Glad all is clear for you xx
I’m very sure mine wasn’t because of pregnacare, all the pain and pink discharges gone! Don’t know what was that really have to wait for my next cycle to see if it happen again, hope not. What is dhea? Hope your ok and stop bleeding xx
Not to want to worry you @ClaraBGlasgow but any bleeding outside of your cycle really should be evaluated by a doctor. I would get it checked out. I have bleeding outside my cycles; mine is caused by endometriosis.xoxo
Thank you . I did mention it to the doc when it happened last year & they sent me for a hycosy & eventually hysteroscopy but didn’t find anything . My problem is secondary infertility so to be honest I feel I have been really fobbed off by everyone I have seen. They just say i am fertile and it will happen even though we’ve been trying over 2 years with no pregnancy whatsoever. They say all my results are normal but I found out just before our ivf cycle that my amh is really low so I think that is probably the reason, though I was told not to worry about it. The only other problem I have is occasional spotting in the lead up to af do you know if that’s an endo symptom ? How ru doing? Xx
That’s really annoying but I am not surprised to hear. I had a very dismissive first fertility specialist who was uninterested in finding the cause.
I had 5 years and 10 months of ttc with no explanation for the infertility; and I had 3 years of cycle abnormalities and like you I had a hysteroscopy which was clear but I did after that get a re referral to another fertility clinic and we found our amazing fertility specialist 😁
After experiencing chronic pain from my 4th round of clomid ( originally fertility specialist thought I had pco) lower side side my fertility specialist did a lap endo in pod and rectum; I conceived but miscarried first time in six years , endo returned same spot had my 2nd lap last month so my fertility specialist has referred me to an endometriosis specialist he knows I’m seeing Wednesday 😁
Low amh won’t stop you conceiving; I have very low amh and I fell pregnant; endo night make conception more difficult. Don’t worry about amh 😘
Yes in answer to your question I do get bleeding between my cycles; it’s worse between ovulation and af. I also get pre period spotting; Brown/red/pink discharge 4 days before af arrives. My periods are very heavy at times ; huge blood clots, flooding bed sheets and clothes; I can’t wear light clothes that time of month; sometimes they last one day sometimes as long as a week. I have cramping between cycles and the cramping on my period keeps me awake at night. My bowels are also worse at my period; diarrhoea to constipation. I also become intolerant to certain food groups.
It’s awful ladies have to fight so hard to get diagnosed with endometriosis.
I think all ladies facing infertility should have endometriosis ruled/ or treated. 1 in 10 have it yet it’s not part of infertility investigations stupid. 🤦🏼♀️
Definitely push to have a lapxoxo p. S so sorry to hear you’ve had such a difficult time xoxo
Thanks for such a detailed reply on this one Jess. Urgh I suppose it’s possible but my periods are no big deal really. I do get bloated/crampy but fully bearable, normal length/flow. In the last 18 months I’ve sometimes had spotting a few days before af (this month it was only one day ) . I have only ever had 2 months of heavy clothing, the post-Ivf period & the one after I took vitex (which I then stopped). The Pre-ov spotting has only ever happened 2 or 3 times & I think it could be supplement-related. My leutal phase is quite short so I wonder if that could be an issue & I also get sore boobs which never happened when I was younger. The clinic said same as you, that low amh wouldn’t stop me conceiving . But I am struggling to find anything else. I have a daughter who is 4 & conceived her straight away with no issue but since then I’ve had laparoscopy to remove ovarian cyst. Can’t think of anything else that has changed since having her. I doubt the gynae will see me again she’s discharged me twice & been very dismissive so I’d need to really push . How ru doing with new grandson? Xx
I am sorry your gynae is so dismissive. You need a second opinion; me seeing being referred to a another fertility clinic and specialist was the best decision we made; I was against the idea initially as we’d been so let down by our ex fertility specialist.
You need a general gynaecologist to look at your symptoms and decide what course of action to take.
If I’d gone back to the first fertility specialist I’d still be getting no where.
Bleeding between cycles should not ignored by any doctor. It needs to be properly investigated. 😊
It’s very frustrating to have secondary infertility; both me my sister and cousin have had it. My cousin has pcos , my sister never got as far to get investigated as she had my niece just before that point 😍 and I have endometriosis; we all had our first child without issues but baby number 2 different ball game 🙄 I think there can dismissive attitude of doctors when you have a child; certainly my first fertility specialist was like that 🤦🏽♀️
Harry is beautiful and I am very in love already I had lots of cuddles Saturday 😍😍😍thank you for asking xoxo
Sometimes we havpush to get taken seriously . It’s not right xoxo
That’s lovely news sweetie pleased for you. Phew! 😅 it might have been all the ivf drugs and hopefully it’ll calm down now 😁 glad the pain has gone xoxo
