Period cramps
Hi cheeky, I'm 5+5 and have had quite mediumish period like cramping for the last few days. I know that it can be the uterus doing it's thing - expanding and getting ready! But I get its disconcerting. Hang in there, you're doing great 😊😊😊
Congratulations on your positive 💕
Yes all the time, I actually had a very small bleed at week 6 but everything was okay. Wishing you all the best x
Hi,
I'm on week 5 now and still have period like cramps. I think it's a thing for some people. Good luck

Today is my OTD and we got a positive! I was so sure we were out as I've had horrible cramps this week. I'm on quite a lot of progesterone as my clinic is keen on very high levels and I think it's causing the cramping. Fingers crossed for both of us.
Congrats on your positive result! I was just wondering, what dose of progesterone are you on? I’m currently on 1200mg of cyclogest (got my transfer tomorrow 🤞🏻) and I’m hoping this time round the higher dose I’m on will help. My last two transfers at a different clinic failed and I was on 800mg for both of those xx
1200g (3 pessaries) cyclogest, 2 x 25g lubion, and 2 x crinone gel. We added in an extra cyclogest the day after transfer (I was on 2 x400g before). My clinic likes progesterone super high (over 100) - it's now at 207! I've also been on prednisolone, clexane and levothyroxine this time round.
Congratulations on your positive test.
Just to add some reassurance I am 16 weeks and 4 days now and occasionally I still get period like cramps! They are a lot less now but I definitely thought I was out early on, but it is a mix of progesterone and your uterus doing all sorts of things to get ready for your baby.
All the best x
I just wish my line would get darker, so worried its another chemical, need to stop testing for a few days I think and let nature take its course.

if you’re using an early response test, that fairly light line can stick around for a while before it gets darker, especially if you started testing early. At how many days post ovulation did you start testing, and what day is the above image from? As mentioned your uterus goes into hyperdrive once a little human has made itself known, causing all kinds of possible sensations. Cramping is normal for a healthy pregnancy in many women.
If you did IVF then you may need more top up hormone! Get in contact with Clinic!!! Get off your feet, legs raised. Take a painkiller, rest relax.
I had cramps all the way until about 12 weeks, I was on lubion injections but non-IVFers told me they had the same feeling, like they were about to come on all the time. Every time I went to the toilet I was checking for blood.
I’m now holding my 19 day old boy 😊
I had period like cramps with both my pregnancies and carried both to term. I was convinced I was going to start bleeding and lose the pregnancies. I had some brown bleeding around week 6/7 in both too. It is so hard not to over analyse everything. I had chemical pregnancies/early miscarriage too and my successful pregnancies felt the same as the ones I lost. Try not to worry. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy 😊 xxx
Hi, thank u for ur message. I ve ended up having a bit of discharge tonight and I m not sure if it had a touch of pink throught it, hard to see tho, and seriously feel like my period is coming, back ache, gassy, I really hope its not another chemical pregnancy xxx
