I'm currently 9dp5dt but I caved and tested early at 6dp5dt and since then the progression lines don't seem to be getting any darker, they seem to be staying the same. I've had a mmc before, 2 failures and I'm worried this could he a chemical - feeling so so sad right now. For the past couple of days I've also had period like pains in my lower abdomen, I never normally get these when I'm due on but it definitely feels like my period. We only have 1 frostie left if this one doesn't work and we've decided to stop after that one due to finances. My husband already had a child so we have had to self fund which has put us in a difficult spot.
Any words of wisdom or support would be much appreciated during this difficult time.

Today is 11dp5dt and the clearblue seems to be showing a good positive (this is the only test we could get our hands on last night). I'm still so confused because I've had these period type cramps since 7/8dpt and they seem to be constant. They're not painful but it definitely feels like my period is about to start. I'm wondering if all the progesterone is stopping it from coming? Also, would tests progress like this if it was a chemical? ❤️

It's such a hard time when you just want to know what's going on and are frantically checking test lines etc. Are you testing 48 hours apart as you won't tend to see much difference if you are doing them daily for example. Have you used the same brand of test? Also will you be getting blood tests? The pattern of these will tell you more about if they are rising appropriately, lines on a test at home can sometimes be misleading as it can depend on time of day, strength of urine, test brand etc. I know it's not easy and I have had the same anxieties around test lines. X x
Thanks Skittles.I've started using the same brand now so I'll do another test on Monday. My clinic don't do routinely blood tests so this is another expense I'm going to have to pay for 😔 At this current time I'm more concerned about the PMS cramps I'm getting, it really does feel like my period is trying to break through but I think the added progesterone is stopping it, which is really annoying. My anxiety is through the roof right now, I just don't know how much more of this I can go through. I feel mentally and physically drained 🥺 xx
I think these look great. 9 days is still early. When I had a chemical the line was barely visible, my successful pregnancy looks like your tests. Wishing you all the luck in the world ❤️

I think these look good 🤞 I just looked back at my own from day 7-8 and they look similar . I also worried about line progression and they didn’t darken until day 12, but HCG was 1035 on day 12 and I’m now 38 weeks. Good luck 🍀, I think your lines look good xx
Hi hun, these looks great, try to compare tests 2 days apart like 7&9 and if you test tomorrow then 8 &10 but looking at 7&9 it is a nice progression About the pain - it could be just stretching uterus preparing for growing baby wishing you luck!
i am so sorry to hear this but dont worry. Am also in same stage as you are. My lines are not progressing as well and am getting period cramps at my back. Am still hoping it will be alright and waiting for my blood to be done next friday. The wait is such tiring but lets feel positive. So dont lose hope and lets hold on 🙌 i also tested with different brand tests . Boots and clear blue. The clear blue is showing good line whereas boots no. So try using different brand test if it may help
Thank you for your message and I'm wishing you all the luck in the world. I read the reviews for the boots ones and they weren't very good so switched to morrisons. I also done one clearblue yesterday and that came up quite strong but I'm still not convinced. My clinic don't do bloods unless I pay for for them so I'm hoping the lines progress slightly 🙏🤞🏻 This tww is so awful isn't it? It's almost as bad as the wait when finding out how many embryos make it to blastocysts. Let's keep hoping and praying for a sticky outcome! X

This is absolutely fine! Honestly. Good progression lines, for sure! I also had period cramping and have continued to have it and I also got BFP. I think it's the uterus expanding and changing.
Please please try not to worry. I think this is going to be OK.

Heya Well I have mine every day but they don't last all day. They come and go but I'd say they are more there than not. Hoping it's my body getting itself ready! I think there's no way of being certain and I am looking forward to my 8 week scan I am now 12dp5dt so very similar to you. I'd say that with a clear positive you are pregnant and you don't need to do any more tests.
Sounds very similar to me then, I find if I go for a walk or stand up the aches go, they tend to occur more when I'm sat/lying down more. Huge congratulations on your BFP! You must be overjoyed. When is your OTD?
It was Friday just gone Yeah mine is eased by walking. I'm trying to get on with every day life and not worth too much about everything. SOOO much easier said than done and I don't always succeed but I fear that otherwise the days and weeks are going to be SOOO long
They look like really good progression lines to me! When I had my first successful pregnancy after a 5d transfer, I also experienced alot of period like cramps around 9dp5dt, really felt like my period was going to come at any moment, I guess that cramping is normal sometimes, and doesn't necessarily mean your out. Fingers crossed your little one keeps on growing ❤
Thank you Isabel and a huge congratulations on your successful pregnancy. The cramps tend to reside when I walk around but are more noticeable when I sit/lay down. I guess during the tww we're hyper sensitive to every symptom and ache ❤️
My positive line when I tested was much lighter than these and I’m now 14 weeks pregnant. I panicked too and ended up having a blood test to check as I was convinced my lines weren’t progressing but everything was fine. As for period pains, I’m still getting the weirdest stomach pains now, fairly mild now but I had very severe stomach pain for the first 6 weeks or so. And always thought I was miscarrying. So far I haven’t, fingers crossed. Getting pregnant after infertility is such a rocky ride. Best of luck to you and try not to worry too much, just know there’s lots of us in the same boat doubting results!

I hope you take this in the way it’s intended to come across. But imo you are worrying because the amount of stress, patience and and heartache it’s taken you to get to this point means that you just cannot believe that it’s really happening. Previous losses just add to that fear. I say this cause it’s like I could have written your post 💖
When I got my BFP, I did 5 different tests all from the same pee. They all were very different in terms of darkness, the FRER being the darkest - the first I did. I didn’t repeat any of them again as I’d read posts on here about line progression causing stress. In terms of bloods I asked my GP. I called and said I was pregnant and so could I have a blood form to confirm HCG. I know this depends very much on the GP as to whether they will do it. But I don’t think private bloods some places aren’t too expensive. My local hospital has an IVF clinic and bloods I had done there privately were £40 - that’s with care fertility.
I had period like cramps and a liner filling very dark “spotting” at 9fp5dt. I was 💯 convinced I was out as that’s exactly how my period starts each month. I did bloods day 10 as instructed by my clinic but just felt ffs what waste of time, hurry up Sunday I want a glass of wine and a vape! I almost caved! Day 12 Sunday I did a POAS with my coat on ready to go buy a vape from the garage at 7am and 💥 BFP!!!
After a mmc (natural conception), a chemical and 5 BFNs, I still don’t think I can really believe it and I’m now 14 weeks and 5 scans down the line!

I did a test the day after I had done one and it was lighter than the previous day and was panicking. I found sometimes one day difference could be all over the place and often my evening ones were stronger than the next morning. Your clearblue result is very strong- I even did clearblues too close together in days and they looked lighter- especially as as the dye dries it gets darker! So it's impossible to compare!
I think this all looks very promising, obviously no one can say what will happen but it’s very strong for a chemical. Keeping fingers crossed for you xx
