Hello everyone. I am 5 weeks and 5 days today and I’m feeling like I’m going to see my period. Please is this normal or I should be worried about it?

I would appreciate your replies...🙏🏻

Hey. I've seen on the forums many women get some cramps in early stages of pregnancy. See how will be tomorrow and if you are concerned just contact the gp or thr midwives and just speak to them for reassurance. I think was called maternity triage and advice line. Google your local one, you will find opening times and their phone number.

Best of luck and try to relax, everything will be fine. ❤❤❤Sending lots of hugs.xx

Hi Nancy, I would call the clinic to put your mind at rest. I’ve started getting my usual endometriosis pain in my side so they’ve booked me in for an earlier scan next Tuesday. Since I rang them I’ve had strong period type pain the last two evenings but I’ve read it’s normal. It’s sooo scary especially as I’m not sure what ‘normal’ levels of pain are!

Hope you are able to relax a little - I’m finding it difficult myself! X

I think cramps are pretty normal in early pregnancy to be honest and lots of ladies on here have said the same. As others have said above if you are worried call your clinic I’m sure they’ll be able to put your mind at ease. It’s so so hard not to worry and over analyse every single twinge isn’t it? xxxx

Whatever you do, please do not be anxious. It makes everything totally impossible and clouds your sight and judgment 🤗

I wish you all the best.

Cramps are scary but they seem to be a good sign as everything is stretching inside you to adjust to the growing little bean. If you are worried then try to do blood test hcg levels (u may need to do it privetly). This gave me a solid reassurance so it can be a good solution for you as well! All the best!

Hi, it is very normal and common. It’s your uterus adapting to the pregnancy. Best of luck 💖

Yes absolutely normal for many women as the blood supply increases and uterus starts to stretch. 😀
