So fed up!

So... this is my first ICSI and just before I was to start injections they found a 12cm cyst so I went for a cyst asb ( fluid removed ) started injections a week later that scheduled. Fast forward 10 days of bemfola and I went for my stimms scan and now I have a bloody polp!!! So I’ve to go for egg collection but it’s going to be a freeze all! It’s like every time I get over one thing something else comes up. It literally is 1 step forward and 2 back. I’m not sure how much upset and stress I can take. Xx

What a nightmare you’re having! Keep your chin up - I read somewhere that a frozen transfer can be more successful because your body has a chance to calm down from the stims xx

Yeh my embryologist said that this year they've had a better result with their frozen transfers than their fresh xx

Waw really! They do say everything happens for a reason so maybe this is a sign. Only been on this journey for 10 years ha! Xx

It's all really overwhelming when you start cos you don't know what's right and wrong. I had a fresh transfer, but to be honest I wouldn't have minded a frozen if that was my option, just because my ovaries were still hurting and my belly was still swollen from egg collection. Lol. All the information is a lot to take in and can get on top of you. This forum is a good place because people have been through so much already and can offer advice. Good luck with your next steps xx
