I’m still bleeding bright red. The doctor said I’d bleed another 1-3 weeks, like a heavy period. But the blood isn’t like a period. It’s fresher, more bright red.
My vaginal passage feels like numb and sore, if that makes sense. It feels like there’s an air bubble inside. It doesn’t feel normal. My insides feel heavy, like pressure pushing down.
I’ve also not had a bowel movement for a few days, it feels like it’s stuck.
I think I’ll phone my GP soon

I phoned the gynaecology Ward where I had my MC, they said it’s normal. I’ve been worried that somethings stuck in my cervix, but they said I’d be in excruciating pain if that was the case. I’ve also been taking diahydrocodine for the pain, and they said that causes constipation, so I’ll stick to the paracetamol for now.
Hi Kathryn I'm really sorry you are going through this, I hope you feel better soon. I had a mc at 12 weeks last year - as far as I can remember (not that I really want to remember it) I bled for about 3 days then it stopped for a few days then I bled again about a week later for about 2 days. I think everyone is different so nothing is really predictable or normal in this situation. If you are worried about the amount of blood then I would suggest seeing your gp. You want to rule out the possibility of any infection if you are bleeding for a long time. I didn't find my epu particularly helpful (my gp was much better) so I really hope you are getting the help and support you need. Take care of yourself xxx
They said I could bleed for 3 weeks. I’ve already been bleeding for over 3 weeks so I might be bleeding for 6/7 weeks. It’s so hard
Hmmm. My MC was so many years ago but they did tell me to come back into hospital if the bleeding became vey heavy or painful and I did end up going back in where they did a laparoscopy and a transvaginal scan but luckily for me there was nothing wrong other than the MC
If your symptoms continue, I'd definitely talk to the gynae ward again. Hope you feel better soon
