I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I’ve been lucky in that I’ve previously always had regular and in the majority painless periods. The blood has always been red, sometimes tapering off to red/brown towards the end. They usually lasted 4/5 days. I’ve neve had ovulation pain or PMT.
I’m on my 2nd period since my miscarriage and it’s really brown. Firstly, I get pain and cramps from ovulation, throughout the tww, and until my period has finished. The pain in the tww almost feels like it’s a pain in my bladder, and I’m getting occasional stabbing pains. There’s a constant ache all over my pelvis. And my period is so brown, no red in it at all. I’m really worried about it. And I’m worried about my chances of conceiving again as it seems my cycles aren’t as healthy as they previously were.

I'm not sure if it's normal Hun so would have a chat with your Dr. I had ERPC's after both my miscarriages & my periods returned exactly 28 days afterwards. I used to have really heavy periods lasting 7 days but since the miscarriages they aren't half as heavy & finish by day 5. I hope you get answers as after a loss I think it's very scary to wonder if your still as fertile 😘 xx
Hi yeah I go see your gp it might take a while for your periods to return as normal. I used to get bad cramping while ovulating and sometimes in my ttw but not always, and have you taken a pregnancy test? I had cramping pains in my ttw and I am pregnant it could happen.
It’s definitely my period. But it’s just really brown. I’ve been to my GP and they are sending me for a scan. I’ve done pregnancy test as well and I’m not pregnant 😢 to top it off we’ve nightmare neighbors. I’m trying to feel better and it’s like a nightclub next door.
I was told it takes up to three months for your hormones to settle back down after early miscarriage. As long as you have a negative pregnancy test, all the remains should have passed and your hormones will gradually be levelling back out. I tracked ovulation after my miscarriages to check I was back on track ovulating as that seemed a better sign of a healthy cycle than anything else.
