I am 7 weeks 2 days viability scan was booked for Saturday. So today was standing at work and suddenly wosh look down to blood on the floor. TMI sorry. Left work went to maternity and they couldn’t tell me if it was a miscarriage or not said I need to return tomorrow morning for a scan.
It’s heavy bright red blood went through 3 pads. Not as heavy now but still bleeding and got severe cramps 😢

So sorry you're going through this Ponder- that must've been an awful shock. I can't give you advice I'm afraid -never been pregnant thus no miscarriage experience either- but just wanted to say I'm thinking of you and hoping for the best xx
Gosh that must have been terrifying. Why couldn't they tell if it was a miscarriage or not with the ultrasound? By now there should definitely be a heartbeat...plenty of women bleed on pregnancy and it may be a sub chronic hematoma. Praying tomorrow's scan gives you an answer. Try to rest up tonight. I know it will be a long night xx
Thank you so much really wish could have they just said the next available appointment for the scan was tomorrow morning. Midwife was making scary faces saying doesn’t look good to the doctor while they were examining me just didn’t really reassure me x
So sorry that you are going through this. Bless you, your day sounded really traumatic. Really hoping you get positive news/some reassurance at your scan tomorrow. In the meantime I’m sending big hugs xxxx
I’m so sorry to hear this and I wish you all the best on your scan tomorrow 💕
So sorry cant give you any advice, just wanted to wish you all the very best for today I know how stressful this time can be xx
So sorry you had to experience that at work. Everyone is different with mcs. Have you got your scan today? Please let us know how it goes
I have gone through this several times, it's just the worst.. I pray your baby is still in there and not bothered. It's such a hard time.. my heart goes out to you, I wish you all the best.
Thinking of you, Pondev, and hope you get the answers you need this morning. Yesterday and today must be so so stressful and upsetting. Super awful they couldn't tell you yesterday! There's always hope that it's not a miscarriage. I'm holding out hope for you. Sending lots of love. xxxxxxxxx
I have experienced this @10wk pregnant, i also lost huge clots. I thought it was all over and had to wait days for a scan. Much to my surprise little bean was still in there totally unaware. I had a large subchronic hemotoma causing the bleeding. I now have a 6wk old little girl. Wanted to share my story to give you abit of hope that bleeding doesn't always mean the end. Fingers crossed for your scan xx
Thank you so much just back from a very long wait at the hospital and they said I do have the subchorionic hematoma so need to rest and then go back in 2 weeks for another scan to see how it’s doing. Little bean is still hanging on saw the little heartbeat. Was so amazing x
Aw that's brilliant news so happy for you. Definitely rest, I bled brown up untill 17weeks so don't worry if that happens. The red bleeding only lasted a couple days. I was constantly worried paid for so many private scans it's such a worrying time xx
I wanted to comment to say I had this Sunday and was adamant I had a miscarriage. When I was going to comment you’d have already been due at the hospital so I thought I’d wait.
They didn’t say what mine was, possibly a threatened miscarriage but no definite answer. The little bean also hung on.
Couple of weeks ago I was at work I felt a gush ran to toilet so much blood. That my work called ambulance. Went to hospital I couldn't believe it when they scanned me everything was fine. Hope all ok with you so worrying . Xxx
Thank you so much it’s so scary seeing all that blood and the pain was so bad. But little bean is doing okay. Feeling sick relief saw the little heartbeat x
