I hate to ask but am I the only person who feels blocked up and congested using this?? I’m very hopeful that it’s not a cold starting as I’m due EC in a few days and want to be in good health!! xx

Hi Squeak, no you're not the only one! I had nasal sprays on first icsi and I was bunged up, got headache and terrible sinus pain. I was overjoyed on 2nd icsi when I swapped the sprays for injections. Not sure why they don't give you the choice, some people prefer one or the other xx

Thanks for replying was slightly worried that I was getting ill 🤧 I’m already nervous about my second EC due Monday and don’t want my health to be rubbish!! Sorry to offload, I think it’s just the nerves!! 💕 xx

It's OK I completely understand. My husband had a slight cold the week before EC and I was pumping him with detox foods and ordering him to steam his cold away! Luckily we were both fine on EC day. Ive heard plenty of ladies having colds etc during EC and it doesn't affect anything. But I'm sure it's just the evil buserilin!! 😄 I am currently 14 weeks and am totally bunged up with bloody gunk and snot when I blow my nose! Oh the joys of pregnancy! Good luck for your EC ❤️

I had a nasal drip with my previous bfp and that wasn’t fun but was all for a good cause..! Meanwhile I’ve been eating as healthy as I can for EC ! Good luck with your pregnancy and hope you feel better soon 💕 xx

Hi Squeak2! I am starting the nasal spray tomorrow for our icsi this month and I am not thrilled, I have to admit. Like Lilli79, I would have much preferred injections instead! But as it is an NHS-funded cycle, I feel like I should be grateful for whatever meds I get given! Good luck for your EC! xx

Hi Squeak2. Try not to worry about this. Just blow your nose and sniff! The lining of your nose absorbs the drug, so all should be OK. Good luck! Diane

Thanks Diane, I shall keep at it!! I’m one of those unfortunate folk who sneeze at anything like perfumes and if I come out a dark room and go outside and it’s bright I’m like a crazy sneezing fit 🤧 🤣 have a good weekend! 💕 xx
