Hello lovely people, so finally what seems like the longest wait until this point, I finally start my Nasal spray on 29th September and have been reading up on the side effects 😬 did anyone notice a huge amount of difference in themselves when taking the spray?
I’m a bit nervous about potentially becoming a bit more challenging than I normally would be to my horrible, non supportive boss and biting my tongue especially when I get spoken to like a piece of 💩 on a regular basis ☹️ xx

The main thing for me was headaches, so make sure you stay hydrated and drink plenty of water while you're on the spray. Mood wise I didn't really feel much different xx
Hi, I never had any side affects at all from the nasal spray. I have finished my stupid job now but I did one cycle whilst there and one straight after finishing and I'm sure it affected my eggs. It certainly affected my mood, I was miserable all the time as I was spoken to like I was an idiot. Hopefully you will take better care of yourself than I did and have found ways to calmly put your boss in their place without losing your cool xx best of luck, life is too short for accepting numpties.
Hi SharlyWarly, I agree it really does affect my mood also, it just gets you so down. I’m glad you managed to get out of that situation, we need positive supportive environments huh! If I could go I would but I feel like it’s not the best idea to be moving anywhere new and the grass not always being greener when I’m about to start IVF, well not at the moment anyway. Hoping that the treatment doesn’t give me too many issues which will help me concentrate on being a bit more chilled. Problem is that I care too much and fear about speaking up incase that doesn’t go in my favour either but I do love your saying about life being too short for numpties, so true ❤️ thank you xx
I’ve been on the nasal spray now for around 11 days and the only real effect i’m noticing is feeling really really down and anxious, quite emotional and irritable (my poor husband!). This is normal for me for like the day before I get my period but i’ve been waiting for AF to arrive for like 5 days now and still no sign so not sure if it’s me getting anxious about this delay or the meds! Haven’t slept particularly well which doesn’t help and just generally feeling out of sorts but I haven’t suffered any headaches so far, although am keeping hydrated. Seems to affect people so differently, some people don’t feel it at all so fingers crossed you feel ok and good luck with your cycle x
I really hope you start to feel better really soon, there’s nothing worse when you feel out of sorts and not your usual self. Hopefully your husband is being supportive which will help loads. I suppose it’s worse than hen you don’t know what to expect. I already apologised to my partner in advance of the person I could become 😆 I definitely fear the worst in all scenarios.
Hey, is that the Synarel? I had no effects other than feeling a bit low on it. Maybe a little snappy too, but who knows if that was drugs or the stress of the situation in general?!
My period was later than normal, and after some scans they told me it wasn’t working for me and started my cycle again with tablets instead 😒
It’s the Buserelin spray. Im hoping I don’t have many side effects either but time will tell. I’ll just need to take each day as it comes and be patient.
