About to start Yasmin pill as form of “down reg” - what should I expect!?

I’ve never used this particular contraceptive before. Have read the side effects of course, and it’s the usual such as low mood, headaches, migraines etc. But always good to hear from people’s own experiences. This is for an FET which I’ve never done before, I’m only used to Buserelin and that made me feel horrible every time!!

Anything particularly unpleasant I should be prepared for?

Hi, I was on Yasmin as a contraceptive pill for about 5 years (if only I knew!!) and had no side effects at all, in fact I have never had great skin but this was the only difference I noticed as it really improved.

I am on day 2 of burselin injections for down regulation on my first I've cycle so hoping for no side effects from that too. Good luck with everything xx

Hey JM82, thanks for your reply! I’ll be honest I had some horrible side effects on Buserelin but you might be different. Fingers crossed for you! xx

I was on Yasmin for years when I was younger. No side effects that I remember xx

So far I’ve had terrible nausea and lightheaded-ness, only been on 2 days. But I’ve also got a bad period, so not sure if it’s that or the pill settling. xx
