This looks like a really friendly, active and supportive place to chat through IVF stuff - so here’s my question.
I’m had egg collection yesterday and I’m due to start pessaries now, I’ve been prescribed 1 3x daily. Nurses on the ward yesterday said to do two when I go to bed and one in the morning, so I’ll be in bed in the evening so it’ll be easier. But I’m wondering if it would be a more even delivery of progesterone throughout the day if I did it three times a day. So long as I’m sat down for 20-30mins or so I should absorb it ok at work, shouldn’t I? Do people have experience of 3x cyclogest pessaries, I think often people just have to take two???
Thanks

I had to do 3 pessarys, I was told an exact number of hours between each one ( and for the life of me I can't how many might of been 8 hours). I used to do mine at work and sit down in canteen for 20 mins afterwards.
You could always give your clinic a ring and double check how they want you to do them. I know different clinics do things differently based on their expirecnce.
I am doing 2 pessaries today is the last day of pessaries xx
Hi Lovely, I’m on 2 Cyclopes a day and they have me taking them as close to 12 hours apart as poss so 0730 and 1930 works best for me. Hope your eggs did good overnight!! 🤞 xx
My clinic wants me to do 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon (dont ask). Anyway I queried this with them and said would it not be better for me to say do 2 in the morning, 2 at lunch time and 2 in the evening. They said it did not matter if that was what I wanted to do as long as I get the quantities in.
