So I got my bfp Saturday but I've also got thrush 😖 Can I use canesten 2% cream? Have been putting Greek yoghurt on but it's hard to do that much as it's so messy but scared canesten might affect the pregnancy - after miscarrying before I'm super paranoid about things like medications

Hey, I'm pretty sure that you can use the cream but you can't take the tablets or the pessaries? I asked a pharmacist about this, but please do check with them first - it's been a while since I used some.

I spoke to a pharmacist but they said speak to a doctor and now the doctor can't call me until tomorrow

Hoping my clinic might call me back still but looking like I'll have to suffer it until tomorrow

Hey,

I’ve had thrush several times since becoming pregnant. The canasten cream is fine and so is the pessary. It’s just the tablet that you can’t use.
