I’ve been suffering with thrush on and off for two years. I have been tested a number of times at my GP with nothing other than normal results. It suddenly cleared up properly last year and I’ve spent 6 months without it. Now we are about to do another round of treatment I’ve ended up with it again. Gutted.
has anyone done a successful IVF cycle whilst having thrush during it? I’ve treated it as usual.
my clinic always say it doesn’t effect the outcome but we’ve had three unsuccessful transfers since having my son. I’ve had a recent hysteroscopy and all was ok.

Hello on my last and successful transfer I had thrush 8 days before transfer clinic told me to only take the pessary, not the tablet. I’m 36+3. I also read some research that actually taking a pessary prior to transfer increased the success rate. I’m sure someone else posted this a while ago if you do a search. Good luck with your transfer. You might also want to take canesflor after the thrush clears. That’s what I did xxx
Thank you so much. I can’t tell you how much better that makes me feel to hear as although they always say it doesn’t matter we don’t seem to be getting anywhere so I can’t help but worry that could be causing a problem. I did try to search on here but couldn’t find anything, I’ll have another look.
Congratulations, I’m really glad it worked out for you xxx
I had thrush just before transfer and took pessary about 2 days before. I was worried about it but didn’t have a negative impact at all. My clinic said better to treat so that I was comfortable. Sending love. Xx
I had thrush everytime I had an ivf cycle. Very annoying. I managed to clear it up permanently by having Zita west Femceive everyday. It's a probiotic tablet to take each day and has cleared up my thrush for more than 12 months now.
