Eat chocolate cake!

Thanks so much to everyone for their support when we heard about Mr Emu’s mum. Scan results came back and it hasn’t spread anywhere. The tumour needs removing but they can’t do surgery because of where it is. So she’ll go straight to chemo. We’re just so relieved it hasn’t spread.

Clearly this was aided by my chocolate cake and everyone knows cake solves everything.

I’m off to eat a mountain of it in case it helps us get a baby. (That’s so not true... more fruit and lettuce for me... flipping Slimming World!)

Thanks again xx

Yes so long as they're in date then it shouldn't be a problem. My nurse always asks what I have left before working out what she needs to add to my order!!xx

Such a relief for you to hear mr emu’s mum has a treatment plan and that the cancer has not spread. I’m sure you should allow yourself one more slice of chocolate cake to celebrate that news before you get back to the lettuce. I’ve been overindulging quite a bit myself, I blame the snow ⛄️

I’ll blame anything I can for chocolate cake! x

I’m so sorry to hear about your mother in law. But great news that it hasn’t spread so she can start kicking cancers’ ass ASAP.

I’m few days late to say that I think you should have some cake....but I always recommend it, with a cup of tea to make life ok for even 5 minutes xx

emu2016 profile image
emu2016 in reply toKyell2

Certainly made life smile a bit more did that cake! X

Hey Emu. You really deserved that cake after last weeks news. I'm relieved to hear that it hasn't spread and can be treated with chemo. I hope Mr Emu and his mum are as ok as they can be.

Enjoy the cake. And hope things can become clearer soon so you can proceed as planned with the next round. xxxx

So far we’re on with going for it. No point pausing it soon. Which means I’m just over 30 days from treatment beginning! X
