15 eggs 🍳 7 fertilised with ICSI, what next?

The hospital have just rung and said out of the 17 eggs collected, 15 were mature enough to fertilise and 7 have fertilised. Has anyone has similar situations and how many have made it to day 3 or 5? It’s weird because I feel like everytime we get positive news, within 10 minutes I’m back to thinking about the next stage and what could go wrong.

I know the feeling! We recently had 12 fertilise and 7 by day 3, they pushed to day 5 and I thought for sure we’d have only a few but ended up with 6! One 5AA blast transferred and 5 good enough to freeze. Good luck! This part was the hardest waiting for the calls. Found it harder than the 2WW so far.

That's great news

I had 18 eggs, 10 fertilised but 2 died leaving 8.

When it came to transfer day which was 3 day blastocyst I had 2 put back in

My first round didn't work they froze the 6 that were left, those 6 were then 5 day blastocyst

I've recently had 2 frozen embryos transferred and I'm 2 weeks pregnant.

It's only normal that you are thinking about the next step and stage in this journey. All you can do is try to keep busy 🙄

I had 12 eggs collected last Friday , 7 fertilised , 6 of mine made it to day 5 blastocyst one transferred and 5 frozen. Feeling positive in the 2ww. Hope this helps x
