Hello lovely ladies, I'm looking for a bit of advice...I'm doing mild ivf as I've got really low AMH but seeing as I've not got any follicle this cycle, dr has said I could go ahead with our frozen embie. He said normally we would start taking tablets to boost my lining after a bleed, but since my ovaries haven't done anything this cycle, we can just start now (day 17). I'm worried that I might be cutting out steps and seeing as we only have one in the freezer, want to give ourselves the best possible chance! Anyone have any experience of this, or any advice? Should I take microgynon for 2 weeks to have a bleed, or just go straight to progynova?? Thanks in advance for reading... xx

Advice please...should I induce a bleed before going for FET? (mild ivf)
Hi I’m due for FET soon and in similar situation.
Not had nurse planning yet and not sure whether to induce a bleed or not.
Was your old lining shed?
They usually want a new lining to boost implantation rates so I guess it depends if old lining is gone.
Hope someone else has answers too as I don’t want to go onto pills unnecessarily
Guessing previous lining all gone, but worried this month's is already 17 days old, not to mention the extra 10-12 days after taking the tablets! Oh it's all so confusing/difficult/unfair!! Good luck with your decisions... I'm swaying towards inducing a bleed and then going for it (despite being desperate togetbon with things!) because I have 3 weeks off from end of March and so guessing holidays is better for 2ww than work!
Hi Mannjj43. I would trust what you clinic has suggester. They have a good idea how your body is working and will give you good advice. After all they want success for you too! Good luck with whatever is decided for you. Diane
