I hope this post doesn't upset people but I did find these posts gave me hope when I was going through IVF. I've finally got my BFP after 3 years of IVF and one laparoscopy! I did a double transfer on 6th July with two Grade 1-2 embryos (Grade 3 is the freezing standard). This was my 4th round, I had 3 failed transfers before. Also we didn't have any other embryos from this round so it felt like our last shot! We did the short protocol, down reg for 40 days on the mini pill and testosterone for 3 weeks before starting stims. I also switched to an anti inflammatory diet around transfer time, as I had a flare up during my last transfer. I'm excited but slightly in shock. I did a test at 6DP5DT which was negative so thought it hadn't worked! This is the first time I have ever been pregnant. I've got Stage 4 Endo on my bowel, appendix and ovaries which has made it really difficult to get good IVF results so this feels like an absolute miracle. Wishing baby dust and good luck to everyone in the TWW ✨

Congratulations that's brilliant news, all the best with your pregnancy, can I ask whether you had low AMH with Endometriosis? And what your AFC was at Egg collection?
Thanks so much! Still feels surreal. My AMH was 12.9 (it went down from 14 after the lap). I had 15 follicles at egg collection and they collected 7 eggs, and 5 fertilised.
That's really good numbers! I'm so pleased for you. Your story gives us hope. Hats off to all women who go through numerous cycle. The first failed one was enough to put me off. 😞
congrats! It’s so nice to hear success stories. Hope all goes well for you. I have endo too and like you had a flare up during my last transfer. Can I ask what diet you followed? I have found so much conflicting advice on anti-inflammatory diets! And which clinic you’re with? I am struggling to persuade mine to vary from any of the standard protocols, haven’t come across testosterone for endo before x
Thank you! It's the worst when you have a flare up that you can't control at such a crucial time! I've started following the anti inflammatory diet and action plan in the book by Dorothy Calimeris, and have really noticed a difference, especially with my digestive symptoms. I'm with a clinic in Dublin, I'll PM you but they only operate in Ireland. They decided to use me as a trial case for testosterone as my IVF outcomes before that were pretty disappointing - I never had very high fertilisation rates and none of my last 3 transfers from other cycles worked. So it seems to have made a difference!
Thank you for the update! So wonderful to hear ☺️ Can I check did you test again after 14dp5dt? I have a similar looking bfp to you but have done for the past 4-5 days and it isn't getting any darker which is making me worry about a chemical pregnancy. Did your tests get darker at all? X
Hey there, congrats on your bfp! I did another test a few days later that looked pretty similar colour wise and then I decided to wait until the scan after that. Hope you have your scan soon, it really helps to put your mind at rest.
