Hi all you brave wonderful and inspirational ladies. I am sorry I haven’t been on for a while however after suffering a 7th fail treatment last November I felt very low for a while.
I just had to come on to offer some words of encouragement for all the newbies starting out on your journey, those of you who have unfortunately suffered failed treatment or miscarriages.
On those days you feel low, you feel like your up against a brick wall and feel the chances of holding a precious buddle of joy in your arms are so so far away, take a moment sit down and take a few deep breaths and remember.
How wonderful you are, you have been knocked down on this rollercoaster ride of ivf but your still here still fighting!
Be proud at having come through such difficult times. Take an evening out of the hectic ivf battle you and your partner and don’t mention anything todo with it. Have a drink, have some food have a giggle!
I have found having been through so so much I need to stop being so hard on myself and start loving me more for coming through all I have.
We will get through this together, some of us will reach our goal and have that wanted baby and some of us won’t but always always love you for being you!
Well done for being so positive and sharing your positivity despite the long and hard journey you're on. You're obviously very determined, strong, inspiring and resilient. Thanks for sharing your strength. What our your next steps?! Xxx
Thanks, believe me I have many moments where I feel like giving up!
Our next steps are to book hubbys SSR
blood screening for both of us as they need updated and then plan egg retrieval and transfer.
So I really really hope to have treatment early May, as I am doing bridesmaid for my sis in November and hope I have a little bump for the dress 🙂 what stage are you at?
Thank you for sharing such a positive post. I’m finding so many strong, determined & inspiring people on here it really helps. I’m afraid I don’t really contribute much as this is my first (and maybe only) cycle but posts like yours help keep me going. I wish you luck with your future treatment xx
