I just wanted to post on this forum because I received amazing support from this community when I was going through multiple miscarriages from IVF. Through some of my lowest lows, there were members of this forum who talked me through with kind words of support.
I also know that I always got how from hearing positive stories from women my age (I'm nearly 42) or people who have been through multiple IVF rounds. ( I have done 4 egg collections, 5 transfers and 3 miscarriages)
Well I did a frozen transfer of my last 2 embryos. We were starting to come to realisation that this may not work for us and were going to turn to donor eggs. But luckily I got BFP and am currently 14 weeks pregnant. I have had harmony tests which confirm I am low possibility of chromosomal abnormalities. All scans have been amazing and it is so amazing to see baby wriggling away.
I am so glad I didn't give up hope as an older first time mum. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.
Baby dust to all !

Thank you so much for sharing your good news. Positive success stories are always welcome here, there is hope 😊. I'm 41 and after 3 iuis with donor sperm, one failed IVF and currently getting ready for another EC, it's encouraging to hear your news. Enjoy your pregnancy xx
Amazing news thanks for your update. We are in a very similar situation with 4 attempts, 2 MC’s and now 1 frostie 3BC waiting on us. Your post gives me hope that this can actually happen. Did your clinic do anything different? I have endometriosis so now going for immune testing before last transfer xx
My last 2 transfers I had clexane and prontogest injections. Not sure if it changed anything as the first transfer on those was a blighted ovum.
I was put on the clexane to try even tho I have not been diagnosed with any clotting issue. My RE said there was no harm in it.
I dont seem to have a problem getting pregnant, just with miscarriages. Usually pretty early miscarriages at 6 weeks or so. But as we stopped PGS testing on the last 2 collections, I think it was all a matter of getting down to a chromosomally normal embryo. I tried 15 embryos before finding my golden embryo. And likely due to my age.
Hi this is just great news ! Congratulations you deserve this , you have been through so much along the way, I can’t even imagine having the strength to get through all that
Wishing you all the best with the rest of the pregnancy take care xx
A final update....I had my beautiful healthy daughter on 19th of February 2021!So happy. I ended with a caesarean after an induction at 37 weeks due to my age and IVF. I attempted natural delivery but baby was a little distressed so they recommended c section after pushing for awhile.
