Menopur question

So this is my second night of injecting menopur and it’s really not going well.

I was injecting tonight and the needle came of the plunger half way through so I have lost half the dose. Left a voicemail at the clinic but know I’m unlikely to get a response till Monday. Has anyone else had this happen? X

I had a similar experience with Lubion which is different because it’s a progesterone injection. Mine kinda exploded and left the needle part sticking in my belly. Most of it was on my stomach and not in it but the clinic said not to worry and not to do another one, just to continue as usual the next day. Perhaps you could pm Diane Arnold and ask her? xx

Hi

Look on youtube there are lots of videos about how to take these injections

I think it may keep exploding because there is too much air inside

So have a look some videos are really helpful

I did watch one but I still managed to go wrong. My sisters a nurse so she’s coming over tonight to help so hopefully I had get the hang of it. Thanks so much xx

I’m fine with gonal f and the trigger. It’s doing all the mixing and needle changes that’s causing me the issues. Feel like a right idiot. But thank you so much xx

Ah your trigger sounds much simpler than mine, that was where I had to do all the mixing! Good luck x
