Menopur day 3

Hello everyone I hope your journey is going well

I'm on day 3 of menopur (225) 3x 75 iu injections

Did anyone feel anything after injecting?

Also did you just inject on one side of your tummy or switch sides?

First ivf round so new to everything

I had no side effects at all with Menopur, but my husband switched sides. Never had a bruise.

Fyremadel (not sure if you will use it) gave me some soreness right after the injection for a couple of minutes.

Hi,

Firstly well done for getting this far!

Im surprised they are getting you to do 3 individual injections and not measuring out the full dose into one injection.

I swapped sides each night. Sometimes I would get a small itch/sting but it never really lasted long. The sting was worse from my frymedal injections.

Same for me, luckily I only had to do Fyremadel twice!

I think she means 3 doses into one injection? Xxx

Hello yes 3 doses in one injection sorry if I wrote it wrong thats whats written on my dosage I swapped sides tonight so I'll keep doing that

I'm starting cetrotide on Sunday morning aswell

Hi lovely, I had no side affects with Menopur. I did swap sides as it started to get a bit achey after a while so this doing it this way really helped. All the best for this round xx

I found tge last few days of menopur I was quite tired but that's to be expected.Other than that yes it stings when injecting more than other ivf drugs but its fine only a short time.

Definitely swapped sides every night.

No major side effects so don't worry.
