Anxious about scan

Hi, I have my scan tomo to see if Menopur has worked. I have not had any abdominal pains and bloating isn’t anymore than usual. Is this a bad sign that I’ve had little side effect? I’ll find out tomo just worked myself up about it tonight 😥 thanks x

Sorry this post is a bit repetitive as I did ask about this a few days ago. I had some good advice. But still no symptoms. Just wondered if anyone else has not had any side effects but still good scan results. Thanks again x

I hope it goes well for you tomorrow. This is my first time on menopur and I don't have my scan til Thursday. Sorry I can't provide any further enlightenment.

I didn’t get any symptoms until I took a trigger shot before EC. I got 8 eggs (I only have 1 ovary) so that was good for me!! Don’t worry about lack of symptoms the nurse told me a lot of women don’t and have good results.

Good luck for your scan x

Thank you for your reply. That’s good to know. The nurse told me the stomach pains were a good sign that’s why I’ve worried. X

I can see why you would be worried. The only thing this journey has taught me so far is that everyone is different and to try not to panick if you or don’t have symptoms along the way. It does really mess with your head though! X

Hello, good luck for your scan. I have no symptoms really, I was expecting to be do bloated and really uncomfortable but I was neither and my follies were fine. I did have to be on menopur for 5 extra days but it wasn't a problem at all and now I'm going for ET today! You will be fine, trust the nurses as well xxx

Thanks. I guess it’s out of my hands. The clinic doesn’t really explain things that well. So it’s such an unknown journey on the first time. X

Oh that's a shame, ask questions, im sure they will answer. I agree though, the first time is daunting xx

I was always nervous before scans, I think it’s hard not to get a bit anxious about it all. Hoping that all will go well for you today, good luck x
