Off to the clinic this morning to see how stimming meds have worked. So scared! I've been struggling to stay positive on our first cycle.... really scared of outcome. Good luck to anyone with appointments today!

It really is anxious isn't it... as soon as you pass one hurdle, it's like another hurdle.... like next its being terrified waiting about fertilisation next..... and then more worries about failure.. Will think of you on monday... good luck! X

That's exactly it!! After my low baseline number I'm terrified of a cancelled cycle so that's my next hurdle!! 🙏 Sending positive thoughts your way for collection on Mon....hope it goes well!! x

Thank you so much.... I'd offer you some advice like to take it a step at a time.... but i dont take my own advice!.... so know how hard it is to not worry!. But the medication will be working it's way to your follicles and doing it's job..... so try not to worry (easier said than done I know!) will be keeping an eye out for your posts..... Wishing you lots of luck xxx

It went well thank you!... They said I have responded well and egg collection is on Monday! How do you feel? I feel so bloated and full! Feel like the're is so much pressure on my tummy! X

My first scan since stim is Tuesday & follow on Friday next week. Was this ur second scan? I feel like my "periods due" feeling. I'm just hoping I respond well, as the tired feeling is hard to work with. That's great news for monday😌, looks like I'm going to be a week behind you as the clinic I'm under are hoping for EC on 21st x

Thank you I feel relieved to know a date now I am on short protocol... so this was my first scan. (Except baseline scan before treatment). I really hope all goes well for you and that EC on track for 21st its horrible worrying all the time about results isnt it. Feels like contstant hurdles to pass xx

Thanks.. I do feel lucky to be on short... I really hope it goes quickly for you. I can't imagine injecting all those days. You really are super stars! She said I have 12 on one side and 9 on the other... I have nothing to compare this too but she said it was a good response. I just feel relieved to move onto next step, I feel so much pressure on my tummy. Hope the 21st comes quickly for you xxx

Yes, due to male factor which if I recall that was you too! This is also my first ivf cycle! Ivf buddies lol! Did you manage to get yours on nhs? My treatment is st the Hewitt centre in Liverpool and they have been brilliant!

Ah we are here male factor too. We are very similar cycle buddy.... is lovely to have someone to go through it with!! No we have funded privately as we have been lucky enough to conceive once despite our male factor issues so there is always hope. We have treatment on Leeds and they are brilliant also. Wishing you so much luck.... will definatley be messaging you to see how your getting on xx

Very similar cycle buddies lol! Love Leeds , always go to stay over November to do xmas shopping! My partners dad lives in Leeds too!

Hi, glad to hear your scan went ok! You are on the short proctol like me and two days behind me as I only had one scan since baseline scan then EC. Another milestone reached! Hope you can have a relaxing weekend and good luck for Monday c

Thank you so much, yes I feel like you but 2 days behind lol!!! I just seen that you had your EC. Congratulations on passing that milestone I hope the wait doesn't feel too long waiting for phone calls about fertilisation..... well done... get lots of rest and I will be coming to you for advice lol bring 2 days ahead! I just have a 13 hour shift to get through tomorrow and then I can relax. Take care thanks for message xxx

What do you work as? I worked yesterday and have booked the next two weeks off. I had a decent tea last night and was quite tired do fell asleep really quick. Spend the next few days feeling pleased that the medication has worked and that within those follicles you have healthy eggs growing! It's such an exciting and amazing time! keep me posted ! This forum has been amazing connecting you with others going through the same treatment! X

I'm a nurse so I know I am going to have a busy day tomorrow.... dreading it abit being this bloated as it's physical at times! I have next week off so time to relax... Thanks so much.... I do feel blessed to think medications have worked so far and means no more injections after the weekend..... you've done so well.... this site is amazing as you don't feel alone anymore xxx

You will get through tomorrow no problem then do something nice on Sunday! Can't wait to hear how you get on Monday! It definitely helps you feel like you are not alone when you are trying to carry on as normal and go to work! X
