Another scan!!

Feeling pretty nervous as I have my 3rd scan this afternoon and need my lining to be thick enough. Been on a whole array of drugs for nearly 3 weeks and just so desperate for it to work. Worries what it means if it's not worked!!! Do I have to start again?

Best of luck! Nerve racking time for sure. They should get an idea from the scan whether to keep you on meds for longer and perhaps up the dose!xx

Thanks. There's not much I can do now. Been taking the drugs, eating red meat and drinking pomegranate juice. Just hope my body doesn't let me down again!!!!

Hi Asweetpea. Just hoping all goes/went well with the scan. If not, perhaps they will keep you going a bit longer?? Thinking of you. Diane

Update- not great news!!!! Not much thicker and looks like it's starting to come away. They have said to continue with all the drugs and have another scan on fri. Any advice on what I can do that may help is greatly appreciated. Come on body don't let me down again. I'm sure the fact I've had a cold all week hasn't helped. A nasal spray and a runny nose do not mix!!!!!

This sounds so stressful for you. The only thing I do for my lining is acupuncture and eating plenty of beetroot. I've also been told to keep my feet warm(?!)....think that's a Chinese medicine thing. Good luck 🍀

Have been debating acupuncture!!!! And why beetroot?

I think it's the nitrates in it or something that helps to increase blood flow to the uterus...

Did you mention that you'd had the cold? My clinic said hayfever and a cold can stop the nasal spray from working, just wondered if you could take other meds instead?!xx

I did mention it but they didn't really say much. It's clearing now so hopefully will work better.

Vitamin e can help with improving blood flow to the lining, which can increase lining, it has worked for me in the past, but maybe to late for you this cycle. Will they just let you go again next month if not right on Friday? xx
