ICSI - beginning of journey

Hi, I am new to the IVF journey. My boyfriend has low count and I have low AMH so we are facing fertility issues from both sides. The fertility clinic recommended to go ahead with ICSI, short protocol. We have been trying to conceive our first baby for 2 years. I am 35 and he is 38. It would be great to connect with someone facing similar circumstances. Thanks x

Hi magali

Sorry about your troubles but hopefully will be sorted soon.

I have just started my journey after waiting 14 years my husband has the problem and ivf is the only way I was told for so long there’s no problem and then I attended Cambridge Bourne hall and they have been amazing.

I hope all goes well with your journey and good luck keep us posted xxx

Hey,

We are awaiting our follow up for our failed first icsi cycle but ours is due to hubbys sperm also.

When are you due to start treatment?

Hi JB1988, I'm sorry it didn't work out for you at first try. I would be curious to know what failed since your husband also has low sperm. Please keep going and don't give up hope.

The Doctor will be running further hormonal tests on my boyfriend so we should be good to go around April time (I hope) x

I will come and update you after our follow up. Fingers crossed for you, it seems daunting at first but it’s not so bad once you get started.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions along the way and I will do my best to help xx
