BFN for me

sanchia46 profile image

My FET has resulted in a BFN. I was fully expecting this as I didn't feel within myself it had worked and I had taken two urine tests which came up negative. Hubby had more hope so he is taking this harder. Me and hubby are disappointed however we do have a plan of action which we discussed with the consultant as I have unexplained infertility. The plan is:

1. Hsg Test to check my fallopian tubes are not blocked

2. Clomid to boost ovulation

3. Trying naturally until the summer then second round of ivf

Very sorry to hear this, I had been hoping you’d have achieved your BFP. Good luck with your plan of action, your positivity is amazing given how disappointed you must be feeling today. Take care x

I’m sorry to hear this. A plan always helps, and I think an hsg is a very good idea.

Sorry to hear this. And apologies for my perhaps blunt response to your other message which I read first. This message also addresses my comment on ‘why clomid’ so feel free to ignore me!

Be proud that you are managing to stay strong. It’s tough, even if your heart tells you it hasn’t worked. Sending a hug to you and your husband.
