Hi MK. I also used clomid 100mg . I took it from cd 2 to 6. My last round of clomid scan was booked for cycle day 13. Ithink my clinic preferred it on cd 10 but cd 10 11 12 13 ithink is still okay because you should still be able to see if the follicles are growing on cd 11 12 or 13. If yyou did go for scan on cd 10 you should be able to see if the clomid is working n follicules are growing and if it is they will send you home and suggest baby dancing. which you could start to do on cd 10 to give you the best possible chance. If you want to wait a bit longer to have the scan to give more time for the follicules to grow like say cd 11 or 12 you should still start to baby dance on cd 10 to give you the best possibale chance. On cd 13 when i had the scan the size of the follicules were 24mm which is close to ovulation.

If for eg you had scan on cd 10 and the follicules were not growing the person who scanned you will pass the info to your consultant and they will increase your dosage however you might not be able to get the increased dosage stright away you might need to wait for your scan results to go through to consultant and then you wait for prescription. some clinic wait untel the follow up app to discuss any changes in tretment which could be like 3 mnths.

Also i wasted my 1 st round of clomid becuz i started taking it but there was scan app avaible so be careful.

Best wishes

Hi biBi

Thank you so much for your comments and I really appreciate your time from the core of my heart.

You have made it really clear for me with regards to suitable day for scan although my clinic mentioned to book from CD 10 to 14 but I was confused as to which day is the best to get Best results.

Good luck to you too. I just pray that everyones wishes comes true.

Xx

sorry iment i wasted 1st cycle of clomid due to no scan appointments available. at my clinic you have to wait 3-4 months for follow up appointments. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi MK05. Usually scanned on Day 10,11 or 12. Your clinic should advise you. Just take your Clomid with your breakfast in the morning. Good luck! Diane

Hello Diane

Thank you so much for clarifying this. Really helpful.

Thanks again.

Hello I'm on my second cycle of clomid and my hospital don't do scans at all. I was also advised to take the clomid in the evenings before bed so that I get the symptoms whilst I'm asleep however I still wake up with hot flushes sometimes. X
