How long after a managed miscarriage do your cramp for?

Hi ladies

I had a managed miscarriage on Tuesday and today Saturday I’m still experiencing bad cramps. That make me bend over with the pain. Is this normal!

Yes it sounds normal to me. I was on all fours at times. I took the tablets on the Monday morning and had stomach ache/cramps all day into late that night. Then it eased off. Then the Tuesday night the pain was major full on contractions. Wednesday was still AF type cramping but feeling better than the night before but the bad contractions/cramping started again Wednesday night. I’d already passed Bb Tuesday morning and I’d assumed the worst of the pain was behind me so Wednesday night was a shocker. After that I was crampy and uncomfortable for days but it was much more manageable. I hope you feel better soon xx

Ps are you taking painkillers? If you’re not I really advise you do xx

Omg. I didn't realise this I thought the worst was over. Sorry your still in pain hun rest up and take pain relief and have hot water bottles xxx

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have codeine and paracetamol and that’s helping me now. Today has been a total write off because of how awful I’ve felt. Xx

I agree with Tugs, I was still in pain for days after last year to the point I got codeine from my GP. I was told it’s all ‘normal’ and mine lasted for about a week. Hope it eases soon for you and your looking after yourself xx
