hi again ,
just thought of another question I’d like to hear your advice/experiences of?
I’ve heard it can be anything for 1 to 4 weeks after a complete miscarriage.
Thanks
Lis

Generally a good couple of weeks. EPU advise to test after 3 weeks after.
I saw your other thread re bleeding and would advise speaking to EPU. They can scan from about 6 weeks and are much more accurate than a pregnancy test if you testing positive.
I had spotting in pregnancy until 7ish weeks and 2 heavy red bleeds and have a 10 day old baby but I also have had red bleeds that got progressively worse and miscarried. Realistically a scan is the only way you will know what is happening. X
Mine was over 2 weeks. I had an internal scan which confirmed it. X
I've seen your other post and agree best thing is to call the EPU and see if they can scan you and/or do HCGs. It sounds like you're having an awful time and hopefully the EPU can give you some help or at least answers. Re your question on tests, I think it can vary depending on how far along you are, and what your HCG was and what's actually happening - I've had losses where the HCG never got above 100 and the pregnancy tests went negative within a couple of days of the bleed. But the last one I was further along and my HCG was rising. I had to have surgery as I wasn't miscarrying naturally and it dropped from around 2,500 to 300 in 3 days, then to below 10 in just over another week, so I guess at that point it would have been negative on a urine stick. I did ovulate about a week and a half later so your body can reset very quickly, I don't know if that helps x
I now have a scan at the EPU on Monday afternoon so not too long to wait x
Mine continued for 8 weeks after my missed miscarriage operation
