MISCARRIAGE - How long after to do next transfer?

Hope everyone is doing as well as possible. Has anyone had a miscarriage and then done a transfer shortly after. How long after did you do the transfer? Was it successful?

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage

I had a failed IVF transfer in the March, got pregnant naturally in the April but miscarried in the May and then did my second IVF transfer after my next period in the June (ended in a live ectopic but technically was successful- I was hugely high risk for ectopic anyway) x

So sorry for your loss hun ❤ I believe as long as everything is ok medically, you can start again from the very next cycle as long as your clinic agrees xx

Im sorry for your set back hun. My clinic wants you to have the first bleed after your miscarriage (if on medication the bleed you get after you stop meds) AND they want one natural bleed. Day 1 of your natural bleed you start your cycle x I found that extremely hard as i am irregular. And my clinic said i could get meds to start the bleed if it took too long xx

I had to have one bleed before another cycle. You may well find that you want a bit longer though to accommodate the grieving process. My advice would be not to maybe rush into a transfer as miscarriages do take a little while to process. Having said that, everyone is different so you well find that you’re ready to transfer as soon as you can. Good luck x

Sorry for your loss. It often depends if you have a natural MC, medical management or surgery and how far along you were. One MC I had to have 3 bleeds another was an early natural MC and I only had to wait to have one x
