Anyone know costs of private icsi scotland?
Hi, I'm in Scotland and going through ICSI with GCRM in Glasgow. They are one of The more expensive ones I think and cost about £4k for ICSI and then another £1k for the drugs.
The reason we went with them is because of their reputation and also the proximity of the clinic - it's literally 2mins drive from my work so early morning appointments were never am issue!
Good luck in wherever you choose. x
Hi! We did this at Glasgow royal. We were refererred as ivf but they do icsi as standard. I was on high dose of drugs it was about 4000. I see you got a natural bfp eventually last time. I have a 3yo conceived naturally but been trying nearly 2 years for another and nothing! Adoption has also crossed my mind but I am 33 so going to keep trying for now . Good luck x
Hi Alc0503, sorry to hijack your post but I just wanted to ask ClarabGlasgow what your experience of the Royal was.
I’d instantly dismissed them as I didn’t think their results were as good as the other 2 private Glasgow ones but I’ve been reading some good articles about their success rates recently.
I take it that if we use them privately then we won’t have the normal NHS wait times as that’s why we’re going private.
Thanks in advance xx
Thank you for replies I done Icsi through Royal last time & they were fab but wasn’t sure they done private I had major bowel surgery last year so need to give my body a chance to heal fully before jumping back into it esp with a 2year old that’s hyper I want to adopt but until I’ve tried 1 shot of ivf again I will leave the adoption but I will adopt at some point in my life xx
I've just been with nuffield glasgow. With the drugs and endo scratch was in the region of £5500. I can't recall the success rate off top of my head but it was our first cycle there and we got BFP with 2 frozen. The staff were lovely so I'd recommend x
