Starting our journey

I'm 33, hubby 35. We've been ttc for just over a year with no sign of conception at all. We saw GP a few weeks ago and I've just had a normal result from a CD21 progesterone blood test, awaiting results of hubby's semen analysis. Appointment booked for next week to discuss what to do next whatever that result shows. Deep breath!

Good luck hun, the begining of the journey can be scary, overwhelming and just exciting as you may get a baby!! This journey is a rollercoaster with high moments and low moments. The only advice I will give is have hope but dont get your hopes up, enjoy each day xxx

Best of luck with it all. It can be a long journey with lots of waiting but stick with it and you’ll get plenty of advice and support on here along the way. If you’re having initial tests you should also be having a day 1-3 blood test done to check for certain other hormone levels so worth asking your GP about that.

Thanks everyone! Off to South Wales for the weekend to try and forget about it all by distracting ourselves with a bit of fear (climbing) 😊

Hi I am at the exact same point with my husband. We are both 33, ttc for 13 months. I have just had my day 21 results, all satisfactory. Hubby is having his test next week. How long have you been waiting for your husband's results to come back? We have out follow up appointment with GP on the 1st Dec. I hope my husband's results will be ready by then. I am also dreading it. I got quite emotional today in a car on a way back from work. What ifs are taking over:-(

I also need to ask for day 3 test as my GP didn't arrange for this as yet.

Good luck with everything. I will be thinking of you. X

Hey! It's like cycle buddy plus 😊 Hubby's results are back after a week. Dr was supposed to ring us with them yesterday but didn't so waiting until Monday. Trying not to think about it too much until then (impossible but everyone needs a goal!)
