Just a quick question. I don't feel sick but I'm being sick. It's not everyday as I wasn't sick yesterday, today I've been sick 3-4 times.
It just comes on suddenly like I'll be gagging and then I'll be sick. Just wondering is this normal?
OH and his mum freaking out, saying it's not normal to be sick so often etc. Ive said I'll call doctor to make an appointment but I'm not overly concerned as I don't feel unwell or anything, making sure I stay hydrated etc.
Just looking for any advice really. Thanks π

Nope it just comes on like you know when you just get that sort of feeling up your throat like your going to be sick, then you gag and then your sick it's just like that xxx
Yes I know what you mean iv been gagging and heaving at my smell of vitamins and asda bags when you open them. Haven't been sick yet though ππ€π
I googled and it said nausea or vomiting are a type of morning sickness. I think they're concerned as they think when I am being sick it's happening too many times over a day xxx
With my daughter I was spewing up all the time everyone smelt it would hit me worse in the evening it stopped around 14 weeks. It came over so suddenly. It's normal unless your not holding anything down if it's concerning speak to gp ππ€π
I was sick quite alot up until 12 weeks and abit like you it would just come over me all at once, it was always just water and bile (sorry tmi) just keep well hydrated and eat little and often. I found it quite reassuring that everything was ok and hormones where rising xx
Thanks Button. I'll give GP a call tomorrow but I definitely feel it's normal. It says 80% of people have nausea but around half only have vomiting xxx
I had my first dose of morning sickness yesterday and it came from nowhere and to make matters worse I was in my mumβs car π±π±π± like button said it was mainly water and bile and there was loads of it - talk about projectile vomit π€’!
Luckily my mum was driving and I had a throw over me and was sick into that but I had to buy some new clothes when we got to where we was going as the ones I had on was a right mess πππ
I'm having bouts of feeling incredibly sick all day and night to the point I can't function with the odd gag but not actually being sick.
I think you could be a experiencing the extreme type of morning sickness there is a name for it which escapes me but best seeing the doctor. Hope it eases off soon x
Some people are sick morning, noon and night. I don't think you need to go to the doctors for it as it sounds totally normal. I would feel like I was going to vomit for hours some days but then sometimes it would just hit me of a sudden and I'd be sick. I wore travel bands and worked for me. X
On my worst days I was sick 3-4 times a day. I didn't see a Dr as I would have good patches those days and confident I was keeping enough food/fluids down to stay hydrated and well. There are some anti sickness meds the dr can prescribe if your struggling but it sounds within the normal range for morning sickness! Xx
Thank you. Yeah I feel I'm managing to stay hydrated. It's not like I'm eating or drinking and being sick straight away, it's usually a little while later. I've ordered some travel bands so hopefully they might help xxx
It's just randomly. I might have a full stomach, empty or whayever then I'll just get this feeling in my throat like you do when your going to be sick, then I gag and I'm sick. I've ordered some travel bands so hopefully it helps. It's fine when I'm at home but hard at work as obviously I don't want anyone to hear me being sick lol xxx
P.s apart from a little more tired and being sick I haven't really any other symptoms so I actually get a little reassurance from being sick. Silly I know π
