I feel a bit selfish in writing this as so many of you have been through such a terrible time lately and you are in my thoughts.
My story is a lot simpler but I'm in complete limbo. We had our BFN in August, our 1st fresh cycle. The cycle wasn't all bad we got 3 little frosties.
We are now heading into a FET which was due to be natural. However this is not going to plan. I am day 16 of a usually a 28 day regular cycle. I've had numerous scans and although my lining is "great", "super". My follicle is just not for growing.
They started me on progynova last week. I've had a scan today and they have no idea what's going on. They said the 2 don't add up. They have said it could be a cyst but nothing showing on the scan or a hormone imbalance. They have taken bloods and may need to cancel or change to medicated round with transfer next Tuesday - Wednesday. At the moment they have no idea but have said that they will phone tomorrow.
I've no idea what to think or feel. Anyone had any experience of this. Xx

Thank you so much. I'm hoping I will know more tomorrow. This fertility journey is so good at catching you out when you dont expect. Congratulations on your news and the twins xx
You could not be more right, it sometimes feels like you are finally getting somewhere and then something pops up and ruins it😩. Hopefully today’s phone call gives you an answer.
We are good, decided to change clinic but I can’t seem to motivate myself to actually go for the first appointment. It’s such a big decision deciding to go with a sperm donor that I’m constantly making excuses as to why I should put it off. I need to just do it and focus on the end goal.
Thanks hun. So they have changed it to a medicated round and transfer is on Monday. I'm so nervous this time!
Aww bless you and your OH you have both done amazing to reach that decision. I can't imagine how tough it has been for you guys. I am sure you will both make amazing parents though. Wishing you loads of luck. Keep us updated xx
Hey! I'm nervous but proud of myself for not testing early don't want to put myself through that again . hope your well ! Thankyou for asking ! Climbing the wallsxxx enjoy hubby bday xxxx
Well done you!! I tested early last time and it was a nightmare. I will try my best not to this time. It's so nerve wrecking though. Hang on in there. Keep yourself busy and hopefully you will be waking up to some amazing news in 2 sleeps. Make sure to let us know.
Awe bless I cant believe you remembered. Thank you xxx
So sorry to hear this. I have no experience of this however know how you feel in that our first fet this month they said I hadn't had a good surge for natural fet when did bloods only to call a few hours later and say it was ok..needless to say I was so mess in those hours before they called again..it is so hard when you think it is going ahead then doesn't. I hope you get some answers soon xxx
I so hope we do got this😯tbh I have been so busy which has helped. I connect with her in the evening with a bit of ivf mindfulness which helps me to feel hopeful..roll on 2 bfps for us 💜💜xx
How are you doing, have you had any news? Im in limbo too with an FET but my story is a bit different, my lining wont grow. Its reached 7mm and hasnt shifted, this is with taking progynova which has been adjusted loads now but still no difference. So frustrated at my stupid body not playing ball as we have 6 good embryos in the freezer and cant use them. We have another scan on Friday but if nothing has changed then its cancelled and onto a different protocol next cycle.xx
Awe hun. What a nightmare you are going through and everything was going brilliantly too. 6 embryos is absolutely fantastic. I really hope they get you sorted soon. Please don't blame yourself though. It's such a tough journey and you have done brilliantly to get where you are. I will have my fingers crossed for Friday for you. It's such an anxious time. Please keep me updated.
I waited all afternoon but got a phone call to say transfer will be on Monday. Xx
Well good luck to you. I know It's really a hard time for you and your husband but it will pass soon and you will get the wish of your life. Doctor has given you the progynova. It’s a supper medicine. It also helps your placenta function, boosts blood flow to your uterus and primes your body for breastfeeding. In an IVF cycle using your own eggs, FSH medicatition (e.g menopur and gonal-F ) creates multiple follicles. Estrogen production is then stimulated, causing the uterine lining to thicken. But your uterine lining is already in best condition. I wish all the process goes through smoothly, without any complicatitions and may you get what you really want. All the best and tell us the good news soon.
Oh my! I am so sorry to read all that about you. It happens sometimes things didn’t go the way we plan them. especially it’s really frustrating in case of IVF when after such long treatment and procedure you get stuck at some point, it’s really heartbreaking. Don’t lose hope. All my best wishes and prayers are for you. Hopefully, you get better results on your next scan and you get your transfer soon. I hope tomorrow’s phone call brings good news for you.
All things considered, good fortunes to you. I know It's extremely a hard time for you and your better half yet it will pass soon and you will get the desire of your life. A specialist has given you the progynova. It's a dinner prescription. It likewise enables your placenta to work, helps bloodstream to your uterus and primes your body for breastfeeding. In an IVF cycle utilizing your own eggs, FSH pharmaceuticals (e.g menopur and objective F ) makes numerous follicles. Estrogen generation is then invigorated, making the uterine coating thicken. In any case, your uterine covering is as of now in the best condition. I wish all the procedure experiences easily, with no confusions and may you get what you truly need. All the best and disclose to us the uplifting news soon.
