I have just had my scan on day 14 and lining is only 6.8mm so they want me to go back for a scan next Monday which will then be day 21.....does that sound late to then do a transfer a few days later?
How late can you have a transfer on a frozen cycle? Has anyone else had this happen?
Thank you xx

Sorry to hear. There’s no such thing as “too late” (assuming you take estrogen): ovulation is prevented and the lining builds/maintains. The only time the clock starts ticking is when you start progesterone, then transfer needs to be five days later.
That's good to hear. I'm on double dose estrogen and estrogen patches so looks like I'll be OK. I got worried because a couple of months ago I was overlooked by the clinic in error when I requested treatment and was told I was too late to start because it was 2 days after I had originally called up so thought I had to have my transfer at a certain time in my cycle. Thank you xx
You need to start estrogen on day 2 or 3. So you can be too late to start. But my clinic told me that once you’ve started, you can (in theory) stay on it forever until a suitable date for FET comes along.
Thanks so much for replying. I hate taking the estrogen, particularly the large dose I have to have. Just don't feel happy about putting so much in my body xx
I know! Between disliking pumping myself full of hormones and hoping for success or to move on ASAP, I want a transfer as soon as it’s viable! No time and hormone wasting 😉 Hope a few days extra will plump up your lining and you’re good to go next check. I’m having a lining check next week Tuesday - we might have transfers a day apart from one another!
Yay! Will be my third FET. Am lucky that my first transfer (second cycle) gave me my previous daughter. Now trying for a sibling with remaining frozen blasts.
