Painkillers and merional

Hello all. I'd like to see if anyone knows if you can take painkillers such as paracetamol and ibuprofen whilst using merional. I only started my first injection last night and then I start cetrotide next week. I get terrible headaches and forgot to ask the nurse about it. Duh!! I also had a cyst found on my ovary (could be period related) and my left ovary is high up. Anyone else has this? I'm just the awkward one 😂😘 oh and one last thing, while the nurse showed me how to do the injections she had 1 vial of solution and I'm on 300u of merional. On each box of the merional it has 150u so obviously I'm having 2 vials to make it to 300u. Do I use just one vial of solution (water) or two? The nurse just had the one so that's what I did yesterday 😳😳 hope that was correct 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I would say stick with the paracetamol if you can

Hi! I was on merional 300iu (2 vials to one water) and cetrotide. I would take paracetamol only. I took a couple during stimulation due to headache and the nurse said it was fine. I also had an endometrioma on one ovary xx

Hiya, sorry to bother you but can you answer a question for me? I've started my 1st cetrotide injection tonight along with the merional and I know u were on them. Did you end up with a bee sting like patch after the cetrotide? I've had a bit of itching for about a hour and now it looks swollen so just a bit worried 😳. Hope all is well and your ok x

Try an ice pack on it, I was on different drugs but had this a few times. The cool of an ice pack helps. Next time try injecting more slowly x

Yes I had the exact same reaction. Apparently some women get this. Mine looked like a bad gnat bite. It goes down after a few hours. Also I sometimes had liquid from the cetrotide leaking out from the injection site after pulling the needle out so if this happens count to ten with the needle in before pulling out x

Hi. Paracetamol only when trying to get pregnant, or pregnant, unless something has been prescribed. No anti inflamatories such as ibuprofen. Good luck! Diane

Thank you Diane. Only had one injection and I feel tired and a little cranky already so god help me 😂😂
