Merional - just curious :)

Good morning all. Silly thing to put on the forum but I’m just curious really...

So I started merional injections on Thursday. I take 300iu. Is that a low dose ? Just wondered how much other people take ...

also I do injections myself and it feels absolutely fine, no pain, no side effects, yet, nothing really. Am I doing it right?!?

I can't answer on the dose as don't know anything about it. But the fact your injecting your self with no pain that's great and your doing it right

I was on 225 and know others who have been on 400+ so you’re not low or high. And it’s fine that it doesn’t hurt. Many people don’t have side effects, so don’t worry about it. I found the progesterone (after egg collection) has affected me much more than downreg and stims ever did. Everyone is different though

I was on 300iu merional and cetrotide. I have a low AMH which was the reason for my dose. I found the merional injections fine but the cetrotide ones left the area red, warm and inflammed xx

I think I was worried at the start because I could feel nithingbat all. But now, 5 days in, I’m bloated and I can feel a little lump on the left side. I assume it’s my ovary as it’s stuck to the uterus. Its quite uncomfortable, and it feel quite tired too...

it feels very real and scary now!

I was on 300iu to start off with and then increased to 375iu towards the end to increase the size of my follicles. After the first 5 days of injecting I started the cetrotide then, same as #Anipea. Same side affects also and after a while it started to feel like I had something trapped when sitting down. It’s just your ovaries adjusting but it’s bearable. Hope it goes well for you x
