Hi ... just wondering if anyone can help me with this one. I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant after a FET, had my viability scan this week which was amazing and all was good - lovely heartbeat! The only thing that's worrying me is that they've now told me to stop my progesterone injection. I'm still having 800mg of progesterone through cyclogest twice a day, but I was given the injection as a 'top up' after I bled during 2WW of my first full cycle(BFN). Therefore I've convinced myself that I'm not absorbing cyclogest and that the injection was really needed so now I'm a bit worried that it's stopped. I'll be slowly weaning myself of the cyclogest from 10 - 12 weeks. Can anyone reassure me or offer some advice? Thank you! X

FET 8 weeks pregnant - lower meds ...
Hello and congratulations!! I suggest you ask your clinic to do a progesterone blood test just in case, and then you'll know for sure if coming off the injections is the right thing for you xx
I was really nervous stopping medication as I was also on progesterone injections (lubion) as well as pessaries and patches but everything was fine. I am now 15 weeks and on no meds and everything is going well xx
Very similar to me then - I'm also on a patch that they told me to stop. When did you stop them? X
I stopped my injections at 8 weeks for the last week I did them every other day. The after my 12 week scan I went down to one patch for a week then stopped, and pessaries went down to just one for a week then stopped everything completely. I was scared but I think by that time your body has fully taken over xxx
Congratulations lovely news, can you speak to them about your concerns? X
I suppose I could - just don't want to come across neurotic! Maybe I'll give them a ring on Monday. X
I told mine I was scared to stop them, they where very reassuring and said most people feel like this. Defo give them a call to put your mind at rest xx
