Confusion over hcg timing

Find out after my scan this afternoon whether EC Monday or Tuesday as brought forward, although the information i have read says on the day of hcg injection which is 36 hours prior to collection, to take menopur in the morning as usual and not to take buserelin following hcg. The problem is i have been taking both in the evening which we were advised was fine to do. How will this affect the process though if they decide Monday morning for EC? Or am i over thinking/ worrying about this? Any advice be much appreciated xx

I always took mine in the evening. From what I remember, I just took the hcg shot 2 evenings before egg collection. I wouldn't worry as they will give you your individualized instructions after your scan today and you will know from that which injections to take tonight. Good luck xx

Scan done and EC confirmed Tuesday. Have 13 mature but more to go so they advised to wait. Are you enjoying being pregnant? Some people have it tough but must be soooo exciting. .....hopefully hun i think its lovely by the way that you still post on this site to help women like us even after you have the result you wanted. Clinic wrote times down like you said so was no need to worry. Thanks again xx

Sounds like you have a good number. Definitely reason to be positive. I've had a lot of sickness with the pregnancy so not been easy, but know it is completely worth it! Can't wait to meet our bean. This site was so helpful to me when I was going through my failed cycles that I want to keep checking in and give helpful advice when I can. It is so painful going through infertility and just hope I can make it a little easier for others. Will be thinking of you Tuesday and hope all goes smoothly xx
