End of the road - its BFN.

Feeling pretty devastated today. Just dared to hope that this might be our chance.

We're 99% sure thats it with my eggs. Considering seeing the guy at Lister again when we're back in the UK next month to get a final opinion but one of the leading consultants in NZ told us there is really no hope back in Feb.

Came home and cleaned the house and threw some stuff out. Next thing is 'Operation - $@&¥ this shit, lets go travelling'.

Hopefully you 2ww ladies get some better news.

X

Sorry dear about your failure.. Are you probably considering donor egg in that case? I think that's not a bad option either. Don't lose your hope anyway.. Every person on earth must be happy and i believe you'll be supplied with an opportunity to have all that makes you happy.. x

Yes, we will consider donor egg but probably in Europe. I think we'll leave it until next year which is gonna be hard but its that much more difficult from NZ. We also need some time out from this whole craziness. x

Sure I understand that.. Those 3 months that doctors tell about having between ivf attempts are often not enough.. I mean that may be enough to renew your physiological condition and AF.. but not psychological one after having several attempts in a row.. I believe that won't make a problem to find some good clinic and have successful outcome there x

Oh no Mantaray I'm so so sorry, I've just searched for your name as I really hoped it would be your time today. Sending huge hugs over the miles and I think you should definitely book a good trip and forget all this heartache for a while if you can. 💔 for you xx

Thanks. We won't be travelling until next year cos need to save and also wait for our permanent NZ residency in case we want it in the future. In the meantime we have a trip home planned for next month for my sister's wedding - I can't wait.

How are you doing? x

Oh I hope your trip home goes really well and it's therapeutic to be surrounded by family & friends again.

I'm up & down but we have some nice plans this weekend so hopefully that will help & just some normality and fun with my hubby. Have been a bit reclusive with friends & family but I need to just face everyone now. Thank you.

Hope it gets easier as the days go on xx

I'm really sorry to hear about the BFN. It's so unfair. Sending lots of virtual hugs your way.

It sucks big time! I like your idea of travelling though, it's good to have a plan. We will try again, only had one frosty so have to start a fresh cycle, going to use the same clinic but now we'll have to pay for treatment, we're lucky that we have some money put by and as they keep reminding me 'age is not on my side' so I'll get back to it all as soon as I can, not looking forward to it but not ready to give in yet xx

It's going ok thanks. 31 weeks now so despite the ups and downs of our various diagnoses we are getting excited about meeting our little one. I have 4 more weeks of work as with her heart they may want to get her out early but am hoping I get at least a week or two to prepare myself. Buggy arrived this week and cot comes next weekend so it's all starting to feel very very real....

Oh babes....we all know this shit too well had hopes it would be ur time.

Brush itself off take a good deserved holiday and when ur ready make a new plan. I done a cycle at the Lister 7 k later he didn't have anything to say wasn't impressed at all...

I wonder if it was the same guy. When we saw them in December he seemed fairly positive. I think I just need closure. I think if he actually said we should try with my eggs I'd be a bit shocked, and also wonder how we do treatment in London when we live 19,000km away. x

Nooooooooo! I had everything crossed for happy news and am so gutted for you. Life is a bitch. You deserve better...we all do 😟 I am so sorry xx

My husband and I have decided to plan an overseas holiday if this doesn't work, so travelling is not a bad thing to plough your energies into. Look after yourself 😘
