During the last couple of weeks my husband has been really searching for something similar to our forum for men.
I obviously know that this forum doesn't discriminate and men are on here and it's a free for all, but I just wondered if anyone knows of anywhere or anything that has helped their partners?
I think my husband feels a little lost, he hears me talk about you ladies and how helpful you are and I think he doesn't want to bother me with his worries etc as he feels I'm going through too much anyway, even though I tell him we are going through this together, I can imagine how hard it is on him. Men don't talk to their friends really about it all either!
Hi Hidden , my husband hasnt really had anyone to talk to but I do my best to draw things out of him via alcohol now and again! You're right they dont get any support from friends, its so hard for them! I dont know how good it is but fertility friends another forum that I know of has a mans corner which Ive read through myself to try to understand what my husbands feeling as sometimes Im guessing! May or may not help but thought it might be worth a look!xx
Hi Taylor, speaking as a male, I totally get what your saying and at first I was the same. Wouldn't talk about it all, but I feel it was quite important for me to understand what the wife is going through and how I may support her. The info shared on this forum is awesome and most of the time, it's been me that will share things with the wife that I've read on here.
I'm sure there must be something similar flour guys, but he's more than welcome to PM me and I'll do what I can to help.
No problem at all Taylor......All went well.... just a breakdown of up and coming appointments and scans really. We went through a lot of health checks, family history etc. Next appointment is end of month. It's classed as a "dating scan", this will be the official day we are expecting the arrival of our little one.
